THE PROJECT

This project was created as part of an AP Environmental Science class at Whetstone High School in Columbus, Ohio. Our project is to work to help clean up the ravines in the area around our school and homes. To do this we applied "No Dumping. Drains to River." stickers on the storm drains in the Walhalla Ravine that leads to the Olentangy River. We have also picked up litter in the Walhalla and Glen Echo Ravines and made analyses on where we think the majority of the pollution is coming from. We hope that these actions will prevent/lessen the amount of waste that enters the Olentangy River.
